About XChat Hub

The independent, community-run resource hub for XChat — Elon Musk's encrypted messaging app. We exist because the official channels don't answer the questions users actually ask.

Our Mission

When XChat went into iOS beta in early 2026, we noticed three gaps that the official team either couldn't or wouldn't address:

  • No Android answer. Millions of Android users searched "XChat APK" and found nothing but outdated forum posts and sketchy download sites.
  • No group discovery. XChat has no built-in public group search. Users had no way to find communities or share invite links.
  • No comparison data. How does XChat actually stack up against WhatsApp, Signal, and Telegram? Nobody had done the homework.

XChat Hub fills those gaps. We track release status, maintain a community-submitted group directory, and publish verified comparisons grounded in official sources — the App Store listing, @chat posts on X, and app metadata.

What We Are Not

  • We are not affiliated with X Corp, Elon Musk, or anyone on the XChat team.
  • We do not distribute XChat APKs or any unofficial builds. Any site claiming to offer "XChat Android APK" is unsafe — do not use them.
  • We do not collect personal data beyond public group submissions (see our Privacy Policy).

Editorial Standards

Every fact on this site is traceable to one of:

  • The official XChat App Store listing
  • Public posts from Elon Musk or the official @chat account on X
  • Direct inspection of the app's public metadata (size, language count, iOS requirements, etc.)

When information is uncertain or unverified, we say so explicitly ("Not yet announced", "Claimed by XChat but not independently audited", etc.). We will never fabricate a date, feature, or quote to drive traffic.

How We're Funded

XChat Hub is a volunteer-run project. We may display non-intrusive advertising (e.g., Google AdSense) to cover hosting costs. We do not accept payment for editorial content — paid placements, if any, will be clearly labeled as "Sponsored" or "Featured".
